During June there are several happenings that visitors may wish to take advantage of, including the music festival in nearby Sarasota on June 8th and 9th. During the entire summer, the farmers market will be held in Siesta Village beginning at 8:00 AM on each Sunday. Each Sunday at 7 in the evening, there is a drum circle on Siesta Key public beach.
